Hundreds of custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles head to Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Approximately 200 cars, trucks, and motorcycles are in Omaha over the weekend. You are here for the 66th Annual O’Reily Auto Parts World of Wheels Motor Show. It takes place in the CHI Health Center.

People from Minnesota to Texas put their cars on the show. Many of the vehicles on display compete to participate in a final show in Chicago.

The event will look almost exactly the same as in previous years. However, there will be some changes.

  • The hallways will be 15 feet wide to provide more space for social distancing.
  • Masks are required upon entry. There are several signs throughout the event reminding visitors to cover their faces. This rule is enforced.

There will also be hand washing stations that visitors can use.

Everyone involved in the three-day event was happy to be on the road again.

“It’s really so exciting to be back on the road doing shows and I think I speak for myself as well as for all the salespeople, the staff, certainly all the car owners. The bottom line is that they want to show their pride and joy. She really itched to be there again, “said show announcer Doc Riley.

The hours of the show are listed below:

Friday: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
