KGBI / OMAHA listeners help local children

KGBI listeners replied

NORTHWESTERN MEDIA The contemporary Christian KGBI (100.7) / OMAHA helped his listeners understand that 14,000 children in the OMAHA subway do not have their own bed, according to the local organization SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE. KGBI listeners responded with 561 sheets, 78 complete bed sets, and 50 pillows, resulting in deliveries valued at more than $ 12,000.

JILL TRACEY, Director of KGBI Audience Engagement, said, “We knew the generous KGBI listening family would be very interested in children and teenagers who sleep on the couch or on the floor and want to help. The response was overwhelming. We’re grateful to be part of the incredible service SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE offers families on the OMAHA Metro every day! “
