It’s early on but Millard South and Elkhorn South have high hopes after starting the season 1-0. They meet in an off-conference matchup between two of the top ten teams in Nebraska.

Elkhorn South beat Millard West by 30:28. The Storm won a field goal in the late fourth quarter from Carson Crouch, son of former Cornhusker and Heisman Prize winner Eric Crouch. The storm also offers one of the best OT prospects in Senior Teddy Prochazka, who is a Nebraska commit. You won’t miss it at 6’8 “and 260 lbs. Elkhorn South is currently number 10 in Nebraska High School Football rankings.

Millard South opened the season with an impressive 33-0 win over Millard North. The Patriots held the Mustangs up to 152 yards fast and only 26 yards past. The Patriots in 5th were led by RB Taekwon Johnson, who rushed 8 times for 79 yds / 2 TDs and QB TJ Urban (7/16, 140 yds).
