Next Monday is the last day of the early personal voting for the city of Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – If you plan to vote early and in person for the May 11 general election in Omaha, the final day is on.

According to a press release, the deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10th

The commission will also extend office hours on Saturday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to help people vote for the Omaha general election and the Bond election at West County Schools in Douglas County.

The office is located at 12220 West Center Road on Bel Air Plaza, northwest of Nobbies.

All ballots for the general election in Omaha must be received by the Commission or an official dropbox by 8:00 p.m. on the day of the election.

All ballots for the Douglas County West Community Schools Bond election must be received by 5:00 p.m. at the office or in an official ballot box on the same day.

Voters who returned their early Omaha general election ballot and voters who returned their ballot via email for the Douglas County West Schools bond election can check their status (accepted or rejected) at . On the Home page, under Shortcuts, select “Vote early via email,” then select “Early voting status check.” This will take you to the Nebraska Secretary of State’s voter review page. Voters must provide first name, last name, and county to match the voter registration. Click “Look Up”, then enter your date of birth. If the ballot was rejected, the voter should call the Electoral Commission at (402) 444-VOTE (8683) to see if the issue can be resolved.

All registered voters residing within the boundaries of Omaha City are eligible to vote in the general election on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Voters residing in the West School District of Douglas County West are eligible to vote in the email special election for bonds. Also on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
