Omaha Fire Department investigates abandoning house fire

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An early morning fire triggers an investigation by the Omaha Fire Department.

Just before 3:30 in the morning, the firefighters reacted to the vacant house on 14th & Ellison Ave.

According to a publication, the first OFD engine reported heavy smoke with flames coming from the front. Further investigations revealed severe fire damage on the inner ground floor.

6 The photographer from News on site also reports visible damage to the front of the house.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire within 10 minutes of their arrival.
