Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) – Omaha Henry Dory Zoo, according to a release from the Aquarium, the zoo, its safari park, and one of the zoo’s exhibits are nominees for the 2021 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The online voting is currently open until May 24th.

USA TODAY 10Best Readers’Choice Awards selected Omaha’s Henry Dory Zoo and Aquarium as “Best Zoo” candidates and Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park as “Best Safari Park” candidates. The zoo’s Asian highlands were also nominated for the “Best Zoo Exhibition” in the country. Proponents are asked to vote online to determine the winner.

Citizens have to vote online by Monday, May 24th. Every person can vote daily, once a day, by device or category in the competition. The top 10 voted zoos, zoo exhibits and wildlife safari parks will be announced on Friday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. on the 10Best website. The winners will also be announced in USA TODAY newspaper.

To vote for “Best Zoo,” choose Omaha’s Henry Dory Zoo and Aquarium.

To vote for “Best Zoo Show,” select the highlands of Asia at the Henry Dory Zoo and Aquarium in Omaha.

To vote for “Best Safari Park,” choose the Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska.

USA Today 10Best, which offers travel and lifestyle advice, encourages readers to select 10Best in categories ranging from food, accommodation and destinations to travel items and activities. Top 10 Travel Professionals select the top 20 candidates in each category and vote with readers to determine the top 10 candidates.
