Omaha measures the most important day by day snowfall since 1975

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Monday’s snow is recorded as the seventh largest daily snow in the history books, and the most that Omaha has seen in one day since 1975.


Eppley Airfield officially reported 11.9 inches of fresh snow for Monday and added a little more after midnight. The 2-day total of 12.5 inches is the largest snowfall since 2005 and just below the top 20 largest 2-day snowfalls of all time.
