Omaha Police are investigating two shootings

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Police are investigating a shooting in an apartment and in the neighborhood on Monday.

The first shoot took place in an apartment. The officer went to an apartment near North 106th Plaza at 6:13 p.m. to shoot

Upon arrival, they found a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital.

Witnesses told police that two men and one woman had left in a silver car. The driver and both passengers in the back seat are known as teenagers.

They described the driver in their late teens and one of the passengers in the back seat has short curly hair and could possibly be the Sagittarius. The car is described as an early 2000s sedan, possibly a white fender Impala.

Police say the shooting took place in the car and they were heading east.

The second shootout is near a quarter of 24th and Pratt. Two calls were reported, the first call was for suspicious activity, then the ShotSpotter showed 10 shots.

One person was taken to the hospital and many people left the scene.

The police are speaking to witnesses and their attention is focused on a specific house.
