Omaha Police Arrest inmates missing at the Community Corrections Center

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An inmate reported missing at the Omaha Community Corrections Center on November 19 was arrested by the Omaha Police Department on Wednesday evening.

The officers took Kabir Haywood into custody near Fontenelle and Camden Avenue. He was booked for escape.

According to the release, Haywood served his sentence on December 16, 2019 and is serving three to five years on Douglas County charges, including the unloading of a gun in an occupied house / car and a marijuana drug crime charge.
