Omaha Police determine a person who was killed in capturing on Monday morning

Omaha police have identified the city’s youngest murder victim.

The Omaha Police Department reports that 38-year-old Andrew Brown of Omaha was shot dead early Monday morning in a motel in southwest Omaha. Investigators say Brown was at Motel 6 near the 109th just after 4:00 a.m. Monday morning, and J. Brown was taken to CUMC-Bergan Mercy, where he was pronounced dead.

WOWT 6 News reports that a lieutenant at the scene said a person was arrested in connection with the shooting at a Bucky’s gas station on 108th & L St.

The investigation is still ongoing.
