OSRS F2P Combat Guide For Beginners
Combat is a fight to the death, whether it’s against an NPC or another player. If you’re not prepared for one of these battles and don’t have time to grind out combat skills, then we can help! Here are some easy ways that will take less time than grinding in OSRS.
Melee, Ranged, and Magic
As a new player, you might find it tough to learn how and when to use the various types of combat in Old School RuneScape. For starters, melee is more powerful than ranged but less accurate while magic can be difficult for beginner players because F2P members don’t have access to high-level spells like Saradomin Strike that are only available at level 60+.
Every kind of combat approach requires different gear. As a F2P player, you’ll be able to progress from bronze armor to runite as your levels increase. You can also switch between more versatile options if you have the OSRS money – chainbody armor when facing enemies with crushing attacks; ranged for those who use magic and amulet of strength or power depending on which one offers increased accuracy for what type of enemy that is being faced off against!
OSRS Combat Leveling For F2P
Now it’s time for combat training. For the early levels from 1 to 20, you can expect a fight against some chickens in half and giant rats in the other half. Given that they are just animals, one should have no trouble fighting them off while also receiving measly XP rewards at this point of your journey into being an adventurer!
The road to level 30 is a lot more exciting. You’ll be fighting Al-Kharid warriors, which are not really all that strong but tend to have a bit of defense. But don’t let that deter you as it only means your XP gains will increase and they automatically mob you when food is in sight! If can handle one or two at once without paying much attention then this spot might just do the trick for those who enjoy AFKing while leveling up their character.
If you’re looking for a quick way to level up, then Hill Giants are the perfect option. The abundance of XP rewards and loot drops means that grinding them is one of your best chances at leveling quickly while still being able to make money in OSRS!
They’re found west of the cooking guild. To get there, you’ll need to enter a little house and for that, you’ll need a key but that can be purchased on the Grand Exchange.
