Police say Omaha woman was hit with a bat and stabbed to death by her boyfriend

(Omaha, NE) – Omaha police are looking for a man who they say hit his girlfriend with a bat before she stabbed the woman.

According to Omaha Police, officers were called to the 41st and Hamilton area around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday morning to report a knife stab. The police once said on the spot that officials found 19-year-old Arianna Stout in a nearby house.

Stout told police that her boyfriend hit her with a bat and cut her with a knife before escaping the scene in her car. Stout was brought to Nebraska Medicine with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
