The arrest happened in January and shot the dying of the 22-year-old Omaha man

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha police made an arrest in a shooting on Jan. 2 that killed one and injured another.

Brevin Fleming, 22, has been posted to Douglas County Corrections for first degree murder, Frist Degree Felony Assault, and two cases of the use of a gun to commit a crime.

On Saturday January 2, Omaha police responded to the 24th and Emmet for a reported shootout. Two men – one 21 years old and the other 22 years old – were rushed to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with gunshot wounds, police said.

Jumeez Sherman, 22, died on Monday January 4th.
