The Omaha Riverfront Science Constructing is called
Omaha’s Riverfront Science Center has been called the “Kiewit Luminarium”.
The builders believe the new building will shed light on technological and engineering advances and attract more students to the natural sciences.
“It will be some kind of beacon that you can see across from Council Bluffs. It’s a really nice space, but it’s really about what’s going on inside the building. It’s about the experiences children and families will have here, ”Rachel Jacobson, president of Heritage Services, told 6 News.
The “Kiewit Luminarium” is expected to open in spring 2021.
