The taste of Omaha is back

This popular annual festival returns with food and fun for the whole family.

From Friday June 4th through Sunday June 6th, be ready to take your out-of-town friends to Elmwood Park in the Aksarben neighborhood and take a tour of Omaha’s top eateries. The event is free and public.

In its 24th year, the Taste of Omaha showcases the city’s culinary delights and gives Omaha food the reputation it deserves. Try a wide variety of Omaha’s favorite restaurant dishes, including Mexican, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Polish, as well as continental and American cuisine. Adult participants can combine beer or wine with their food tastings. And save space for a dessert, from your favorite ice cream to cheesecake.

There are also attractions all weekend to enjoy non-stop, like the Nebraska Lottery Stage with Goddess of Rock, Rhythm Collective, Teacherz Petz, and more. There will also be a World Dance Stage with performers from different cultures along with balloons, magic and face painting to keep the kids entertained so this event is fun for the whole family.

All entertainment, including nationally recognized talent and local top bands, is free to attend. For more information on providers and entertainment, visit showofficeonline.com/TasteHome.
